SHALINI GANENDRA FINE ART was founded by Shalini Ganendra in 1998 with the opening of a flagship gallery, The Private Gallery, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 2007, Ms. Ganendra established a presence in London.

The Gallery specialises in Asian contemporary art in all media, with particular focus on artists from Malaysia and Sri Lanka. Drawing upon broad expertise in the fine arts, the Gallery offers a full range of services to clients.

Ms. Ganendra believes that to be a truly successful and enduring presence in the history of art, no contemporary art movement can exist in geographical isolation and an artist must find a place in the global arena of collecting, criticism and commerce. In this context, the aesthetic and cerebral qualities of an artwork are paramount.
